-Test-drive fundraising event generated much-needed money for field improvements so kids can enjoy the baseball experience and helping support the local community.
Marinette, WI – The Motor Company, Peshtigo Youth Baseball and members of the local community helped raise much-needed funds for PYB’s field improvements at a recent test-drive event, as part of Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR Community program. More than 234 area residents test-drove a Ford vehicle at Peshtigo Youth Baseball Field on July 12th, 2014. The Motor Company and Ford Motor Company donated $20, with funds going toward field improvements. In total $4,680 was raised which exceeded all of our expectations.
In an effort to go further, Ford has developed the Drive 4 UR Community program, which is modeled after the successful Drive 4 UR School program. To date, Ford dealerships and local communities across the United States have helped to raise more than $20 million for high schools thanks to their hard work and partnership with the Drive 4 UR School program.

Participants had the chance to take a fun, casual drive in one of our vehicles, while lending our community a much-needed helping hand,” said Robert Juul, President, The Motor Company.
“With all the cutbacks in community budgets, finding creative ways to fund-raise is imperative,” said Jeff Tackmier, President of Peshtigo Youth Baseball. The Motor Company and Ford make a difference to our local community and it says a lot about who they are as a company. The money raised on July 12th will help for much needed field improvements.”
